The Walking Dead hair cut

I do not know what I was thinking when I allowed my son B to leave the barber chair with a haircut that looked like something from the Walking Dead.

I was in a hurry and wanted to spend the day with him before working that night. I thought maybe the hair would look better after he washed it that night. It didn’t. I was a bad dad because I let my boy walk out with a bad hair cut. Usually I am more on top of it. I cannot explain why I let this happen.

The wife was not happy and the lecture she gave me was well deserved. I messed up.

When I was a kid I always went to Mr. Carson’s to get a couvade’s where you got the line in front. It was the hot look when I was a kid. I didn’t like it because I wanted to grow my hair out, which I was allowed to do when I got older. But there were times when Mr. Carson was not available and my aunt took me to a guy on Livernois.

I will call him hungry guy because he cut my hair while eating a rib dinner for lunch. I kid you not. He also did not do a very good job. My line was crooked and there were patches in the back of my head. My spicy aunt went nuts.

“You’ve bleeped up this boys head,” she screamed. “You up here eating and smacking your lips while doing his hair. I should have known better.”

My aunt did a better job than me. She made him line me up right and I am pretty sure she did not leave a tip.

I will do better next time.

Sorry B.
