Lions coach Jim Caldwell was happy to have defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh at OTA’s this week and said Suh did not need to address the team about missing previous camps.
I disagree. He needs to talk to somebody about it because some guys in the room want an explanation. They want to know how committed Suh is to them.
‘He didn’t do anything wrong,” Caldwell told reporters. “He didn’t break any rules. It’s all voluntary.”
He is right. No rules were broken. It was all voluntary but teammates remain ticked off privately. He does not need to make a huge issue out of this but it would be nice to explain himself to veteran players.
** Here is my question. Many fans are upset with Suh about missing voluntary camps. So are any of you going to express your anger at a Lions game? We all know the answer to that.
You will scream Suuuuuuuuhhhhhhh!!!! You will praise him and bow to him once he puts that Lions uniform on. This is one reason why I roll my eyes when some fans make a big deal out of this.
They are mad now but will support the guy once the season begins.
